Tere­sina's bus terminals will resume operations and the Inthegra system will be reinstated with changes in the city. The system had been deactivated in May 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, when operations were suspended to prevent the spread of the virus.

During the deactivation period, the Inthegra system was replaced, in practice, by the radial model. In this model, buses depart from neighborhoods directly for the city center, without passing through integration terminals.

The changes that will be implemented with the reinstatement of the Inthegra system were not specified in the article. The reactivation represents a significant change in the way public transportation operates in Teresina, returning to the pre-pandemic model.
