Municipalities expect to have the final version of the Local Finance Law by the end of the year

Portuguese municipalities expect the final version of the Local Finance Law to be completed by the end of the year. The information was advanced by the president of the National Association of Portuguese Municipalities (ANMP), Pedro Pimpão.

The main objective of this law is to strengthen the financial resources available to municipalities. Pedro Pimpão expressed this expectation in the performance of his duties as president of ANMP.

The Local Finance Law is a legislative instrument that regulates the way municipalities obtain and manage their financial resources. Its revision is awaited with expectation by Portuguese local officials.
