Ventura proposes reduction of VAT on fuels and challenges PS to approve measure

Chega presented a bill proposing the reduction of VAT on fuels. The initiative was presented by the party on Friday.

Chega's leader, André Ventura, challenged the Socialist Party to approve this measure, creating a political confrontation over taxation on fuels.

The bill will be debated in the Assembly of the Republic on September 24, the same date when a zero VAT proposal for essential food goods will also be discussed, also presented by Chega.
