Teresa Mora-Grenier assumes CFO role at Novobanco

Teresa Mora-Grenier took office as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Novobanco, joining the Executive Board of Directors (CAE) of the institution for the term 2025-2028. The appointment became official after receiving authorization from the competent regulatory authority as part of the suitability and probity assessment process, with effects from September 10, 2026.

The bank communicated this appointment to the market, formally confirming the resolution previously announced on April 30, 2026. Teresa Mora-Grenier thus becomes part of the executive committee led by Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mark Bourke.

With the entry of Teresa Mora-Grenier, Novobanco's executive committee now has three women among its seven members, making it the national banking institution with the highest female representation in executive management.

The Executive Board of Directors of Novobanco for the term 2025-2028 is composed of Mark Bourke as CEO, Teresa Mora-Grenier as CFO, Luís Ribeiro as Chief Commercial Officer Corporate, João Paixão Moreira as Chief Commercial Officer Retail, Patricia Fonseca as Chief Legal, Compliance and Sustainability Officer, Carmen Garcia Gonçalves as Chief Risk Officer, and Rui Fontes as Chief Credit Officer.
