Organizations call for contribution from packaging producers to develop reuse

Various organizations sent a letter to the State Secretariat for the Environment and the State Secretariat for the Economy requesting contributions from packaging producers to develop reuse. The request comes within the framework of the implementation of the European Regulation on Packaging and Packaging Waste, known by the acronym PPWR. The communication was released today, without specifying which organizations were involved or the exact terms of the request made to producers. The PPWR establishes European rules for the management of packaging and packaging waste, including reuse targets that require collaboration from the productive sector.
