The prices of major fuels in the Autonomous Region of Madeira will increase by around 9 cents from Monday. This rise will bring petrol and road diesel above the 2 euros per litre threshold.
Super unleaded petrol IO 95, which currently costs 1.921 euros per litre, will go up by 8.9 cents, rising to 2.010 euros per litre.
With this increase, Madeirans will pay an extra 4.45 euros for every 50 litres of refuelled petrol, representing a significant additional burden for consumers in the region.
