The Centro Ciência Viva in Arcos de Valdevez hosts tonight the "Bootcamp Científico Camp," an initiative that runs from today until tomorrow, the 12th. The program is aimed at young people aged 7 to 12 and aims to stimulate curiosity, the spirit of discovery, and teamwork through experiences and practical challenges.

The adventure started this afternoon, at 3:30 PM, with the reception of participants, followed by a kitchen laboratory with solar snack and the camp setup with a "Scientific Party & Co" game.

The highlight of the event starts at 7:30 PM, combining dinner and a themed sunset with the great night adventure "Lost Mineral," culminating with the sleepover at the center itself.

The camp ends on Saturday morning, with breakfast at 9 AM and an official closing ceremony and certificate presentation scheduled for 10:30 AM.

Specialist warns: you should (really) not put these foods in your freezer

Experts warn that many foods should not be frozen, especially dairy products like milk, cream and cheeses, which can undergo significant changes in texture, flavor and consistency due to the separation of water and fat during freezing. Fresh and creamy cheeses are particularly affected, becoming grainy and losing their creaminess, while harder varieties resist better but may become dry and crumbly. In addition to quality changes, the expansion of dairy products during freezing can cause packaging to rupture. Experts recommend that, instead of freezing, proper refrigeration should be used or shopping should be better planned to avoid waste.

Work stress, bedroom problems: study brings new clues about erectile dysfunction

A study published in the International Journal of Clinical Practice, conducted with 826 men aged 22 to 40, revealed a strong association between work stress and erectile dysfunction. Among participants with the highest stress level, 54.37% had the problem, compared to only 8.21% of those with lower stress. The research used a monitoring tool that assesses five factors: weekly working hours, autonomy in decision-making, supervision support, relationship with colleagues, and pressure for promotion. Men with higher scores on the stress scale obtained significantly worse results on questionnaires about erectile function.
