PJ arrests two suspects for homicide in Olhão after dispute related to drug

The Judicial Police arrested two men, aged 37 and 44, suspected of consummated homicide and attempted homicide against two men aged 41 and 51, in Olhão. The facts occurred following a dispute related to the consumption and trafficking of narcotics.

According to PJ, the victims were barbarously struck with a knife and an iron bar, after being surprised inside a residence. The severity of the injuries caused the immediate death of one of the victims, while the other was taken to Faro Hospital, where he remains hospitalized.

The facts were reported to PJ by PSP. One of the detained has criminal records associated with drug trafficking. The suspects will be brought before the judicial authority for first judicial interrogation and application of precautionary measures.

The investigation continues under PJ's responsibility, under the direction of the Department of Investigation and Criminal Action of Olhão.
