The Planos Pro Futuro event takes place between Monday (14) and the following Wednesday, from 9am to 5pm, at the Cidade das Artes, in Barra do Rio de Janeiro. Promoted by the Ministry of Culture, the event is free and tickets must be obtained through the Sympla platform. The organizers' expectation is to gather more than 15 thousand young people during the three days of activities.
The main objective of Planos Pro Futuro is to guide participants in choosing a profession, presenting the different possibilities of education and insertion in the job market. The event seeks to expand students' repertoire about the paths they can follow, including higher education, technical and professional training, entrepreneurship and other forms of work.
The event was created by two young people and features the participation of universities and specialists from different areas. For public school students, there will be transportation and meals available, through a partnership with the Department of Education.
In addition to presenting career and education options, the proposal of Planos Pro Futuro also seeks to encourage school retention and bring young people closer to professionals and institutions that can help them in their academic and professional future.
