Children's book raises more than 2,600 euros for the Firefighters Federation of the District of Évora

DianaFM11 September 2026 at 13:22

The children's book "A Latinha dos Bombeiros," created in 2025 by author Fátima Lourenço, enabled the raising of 2,620 euros for the firefighting corps of the district of Évora. The work was developed with the objective of bringing children closer to firefighters and promoting, from an early age, habits of solidarity.

The amount raised was announced by the president of the Firefighters Federation of the district of Évora, Paulo Alves, who accompanied the entire initiative. The money will now be distributed among the firefighting corps of the district.

The initiative demonstrates the potential of cultural and educational projects in raising funds for volunteering and civil protection organizations, taking advantage of the fascination that firefighters exert on the child audience.
