Taxis at Lisbon airport with fixed rate from October 15, trips can reach 28 euros

SIC Notícias11 September 2026 at 12:55

From October 15, taxis at Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon will start charging a fixed rate for passengers, allowing them to know the fare in advance. The new system sets fares between 16 and 28 euros, depending on various factors.

The final price of the trip varies according to the destination zone, the time of day the ride takes place, and the capacity of the vehicle used. This pricing structure aims to give greater predictability to passengers using taxi services at Portugal's main airport.

Passengers thus have greater transparency about the cost of the trip before starting the journey, eliminating surprises at the time of payment and allowing better financial planning for trips from the airport.
