FADU challenged Portuguese universities to channel 50 euros from tuition fees to sports, at the start of the academic year. The association aims to place physical activity at the center of Higher Education strategy in Portugal.
Diogo Braz, a figure associated with FADU, alerted to the lack of sports facilities in higher education institutions. The official believes sports should have a more relevant role in academic life.
In an appeal directed at students arriving at universities, Diogo Braz asked them not to leave their sneakers at the door, encouraging physical activity practice from the beginning of university life.
