Grape Harvest Festival forces Centro de Saúde do Estreito to close early

The Centro de Saúde do Estreito, in Câmara de Lobos, will exceptionally close at 6 PM this Friday. The decision is due to constraints caused by the setup of infrastructure for the Grape Harvest Festival, taking place in that locality from today until Sunday, September 13.

According to the Health Service of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (SESARAM), the installation of support structures and the stage is being carried out on Rua João Augusto Ornelas, where the health unit is located.

The setup of infrastructure is affecting traffic in the area and making access to the Centro de Saúde difficult. This situation forced the early closure of the health unit during the preparation and holding of the event.
