The fourth edition of the Granfondo Serra D'Ossa, a cycling event of reference in the Alentejo, scheduled for October 4, was presented at the Castle of Alandroal, expecting to gather around 1700 participants among Portuguese and foreign athletes. The President of the Municipal Council of Estremoz, José Daniel Sadio, highlighted that "the impact of the initiative on the territory has been tremendous", evidencing the union between the five municipalities involved - Alandroal, Vila Viçosa, Borba, Estremoz and Redondo. The mayor stated that no municipality, in isolation, has the capacity to take advantage of the impact of this sporting event of international scope, considering that the event promotes the region tourism-wise and shows the potential of the territory. Participants will be able to choose between three routes: Granfondo (143.9 km), Mediofondo (108.3 km) and Minifondo (60.8 km).
