São Pedro do Sul was the municipality that recorded the highest growth in guests in the Viseu Dão Lafões region. In the first half of the year, the municipality received 30,390 guests and registered 70,927 overnight stays, according to data from the National Statistics Institute (INE). These numbers demonstrate the strong tourism performance of the spa town during this period. The Viseu Dão Lafões region thus benefits from the significant growth of tourism activity in São Pedro do Sul.

Fuel retailers accuse Government of "lying" to the Portuguese and demand more enforcement

The president of ANAREC, João Durão, accused the Portuguese Government of "lying to the Portuguese" and profiting from fuels, demanding greater enforcement to stop cross-border smuggling between Portugal and Spain.
