Crédito Agrícola has launched the third edition of the Acceleration Programme for the Sustainable Transition of the Tourism sector, developed in partnership with Maze Impact. The programme is aimed at small and medium-sized companies in the tourism sector that have not yet published a sustainability report, with applications open until 6 October.
The programme runs from November 2026 to March 2027, over five months, combining technical training, individualized support and moments of sharing between companies. Participants will have weekly theoretical sessions, fortnightly follow-up meetings, practical sessions with digital tools and networking opportunities. At the end, each company must have developed and published their respective sustainability report.
According to Crédito Agrícola, the first two editions supported 25 companies and contributed to the publication of 17 sustainability reports. All participants from previous editions would recommend the programme and 86% said they felt confident to independently develop the next report. Companies such as WOTELS, Seven O Five Hotels and Hotel Dom Henrique Downtown shared positive testimonials about the programme's impact.
The programme is open to both Crédito Agrícola customers and non-customers, although places are limited. The initiative aims to support the transition of Portuguese SMEs through knowledge sharing, technical capacity building and development of practical tools related to sustainability and competitiveness.
