Ceuta. Fires destroy 42 immigrant tents

In Ceuta, 42 immigrant tents were destroyed by fires on Wednesday night. The alarm was raised at 23:00 local time, when the flames had already spread through the camp.

Firefighters took almost two hours to bring the flames under control. During the firefighting operation, the families living at the site were evacuated from the camp for their safety.

The fire caused no injuries among the immigrants nor did it damage public buildings in the surrounding area. The causes of the fire have not yet been released by the authorities.
