The medical unions have already set the date for their indefinite national strike: October 28. On that day, the protest against the Marco Statute Law bill will begin, the rule that regulates the labor relations of healthcare staff, about to start its parliamentary process, as announced by the Strike Committee.
Doctors have always rejected this law. They consider, and have repeated exhaustively, that it perpetuates "unfair and discriminatory" working conditions for the group.
Healthcare professionals insist on asking for their own collective agreement, that is, a specific collective agreement for their activity.
