A car with Portuguese license plate entered the sand of Chancelas Beach in Pontevedra and got stuck in the sand. The vehicle only managed to leave the location more than 12 hours after it got stuck. Local authorities had to intervene to help remove the car from the beach.
This is not an isolated case. It is the second similar incident to occur on the same beach in just ten days. The situation raises concerns about the circulation of vehicles in coastal areas that should be protected.
The region's beaches face recurring problems with cars entering the sand, causing environmental damage and putting beachgoers' safety at risk. Authorities are analyzing measures to prevent this type of occurrence in the future.
