The Municipal Museum of Olhão will mark the European Heritage Days on September 15th and 16th, with a program that takes visitors to discover the city and its history. The initiative bridges material history, intangible tradition, and community life, bringing the Museum's heritage closer to the spaces, memories, and people that are part of Olhão's identity.
On September 15th, at 9:30 PM, the Largo da Restauração, next to the Municipal Museum, hosts the Dúo Kasal concert. At 10:30 PM, there will be a guided visit to the Matriz Church.
On September 16th, at 9 PM, there will be a Meeting at the Museum, followed at 9:30 PM by the route through the historic area "A Noite das Lendas Encantadas" (The Night of the Enchanted Legends), featuring Jorge Alves on accordion.
The initiative offers an immersion into the collective imagination and the stories that form part of Olhão's oral tradition, travelling through places and memories of the historic centre.
