The Unidade Local de Saúde da Guarda (ULSG) reinforced, this week, the Internal Medicine Service of Hospital Nossa Senhora da Assunção (HNSA) in Seia, with the integration of Dr. Fabíola Figueiredo, a specialist physician in Internal Medicine. This reinforcement had been long awaited by the institution and the local population, contributing to strengthening the hospital's care capacity and the continuity of healthcare services provided to the community.

The new professional was received by the Clinical Director for Hospital Healthcare, Dr. Nuno Sousa, and by the Deputy Clinical Director and Director of the Internal Medicine Service at HNSA, Dr. Helena Figueiredo, who welcomed her to ULS da Guarda and highlighted the importance of her integration for strengthening the teams and the continuous improvement of care provision.

IPCA drops 0.32% in August, with decline in electricity bills and food prices

The IPCA, Brazil's official inflation index, fell 0.32% in August, recording the first monthly deflation since August of last year.
