Rui Ferreira returned to Portuguese football through FC Felgueiras, after a less successful experience in Cyprus. The coach, born in Espinho, found a club fighting for survival in the Portuguese II Liga.

Felgueiras managed to secure survival in the Portuguese second division, thus fulfilling the goal set at the beginning of his spell at the club.

Rui Ferreira considers that FC Felgueiras was a very important challenge for both himself and his coaching staff, highlighting the relevance of this experience in his professional career.

Currently, the coach is waiting for the right project to return to action in the world of football.
