Francisco Pimentel Miúdo, a 25-year-old student from the Azores, traveled to Lousã to participate in the Summer CEmp, the European Commission's summer school. This trip had the main objective of discussing the future of Europe and exchanging perspectives with other participants.
During the event, the young man from the Azores had the opportunity to hear different perspectives on various European topics, enriching his understanding of the issues that shape the continent. At the same time, Miúdo sought to share the reality experienced in the Azores, bringing the experience and specific context of the autonomous region to the debate.
The Summer CEmp is an initiative of the European Commission that brings together students and young people from different parts of Europe, creating a space for reflection and dialogue about the direction of the European Union. For Francisco Pimentel Miúdo, this experience represented a way of contributing the point of view of outermost regions, such as the Azores, to European discussions.
