The Government decided to accelerate the procedures for the payment of compensation for damages caused by Iberian wolf attacks to livestock producers. The measure establishes a maximum deadline of 20 working days for damage assessment, significantly reducing previous response times.
The measure is part of a joint order signed by the Minister of Environment and Energy, Maria da Graça Carvalho, and the Minister of Agriculture. The objective is to streamline the compensation process for producers affected by attacks from this predator.
