AECT Rio Minho promotes free course on Statistical Data Research and Use with Artificial Intelligence

AECT Rio Minho will promote a free course entitled "Statistical Data Research and Use with Artificial Intelligence" between September 15 and 18. The training has a duration of five hours and is aimed at participants with no prior knowledge in the field.

The course combines a theoretical introduction with practical exercises on generative AI, prompt engineering, data research, business analytics, Power BI and information visualization. The sessions will take place in two locations: in Valença, on September 15 and 16, from 09:30 to 12:00, at the Municipal Library; and in Porriño, Spain, between September 17 and 18, from 10:30 to 13:00, at CIE A Granxa.

In Valença, the trainers are Rui Pereira and Maria José Gonçalves, lecturers at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. In Porriño, the training is provided by Andrés Mazaira Castro, a lecturer at the University of Vigo.

The initiative is part of the REDE_GOV_MINHO project, co-funded by the Interreg VI-A Spain–Portugal Programme (POCTEP) 2021–2027. Registrations must be made through the email [email protected].
