The Festas dos Capuchos take place in Vila Viçosa, with the official opening ceremony scheduled for this Friday, September 11th. The second day of the festivities begins at 20:00 with a mortar salute, which formally marks the start of the celebrations.

Following the initial activities from Thursday, Friday's program extends into the evening and features a concert by Chaito y Palosanto, serving as the musical highlight of the event.

The Festas dos Capuchos are a local tradition in Vila Viçosa, a municipality in the district of Portalegre, in Alentejo. The event brings together local residents and visitors over several days of celebrations.
