After more than four years on the run from justice in Bahia, Alean de Almeida Silva, 44 years old, convicted to 83 years and three months in prison for a triple homicide, was located and arrested on the southern coast of Espírito Santo. He was hiding at Ubu Beach, in the municipality of Anchieta.
The arrest took place on Thursday (10) during Operation Airplane Mode, carried out by the Civil Police of Espírito Santo (PCES), through the Police Station of Piúma, with support from the Tactical Force of the 10th Independent Company of the Military Police of Espírito Santo and in conjunction with the Civil Police of Bahia.
The operation was made possible thanks to the joint work between the Civil and Military Police of Espírito Santo and the Civil Police of Bahia, who managed to track the whereabouts of the convict after years of searches.
In addition to the triple homicide, Alean de Almeida Silva is identified as one of the leaders of a criminal organization linked to the Red Command faction, operating in both regions.
