South Korean rapper Hwasa will perform this Friday (11) at Rock in Rio 2026, marking her first solo show in Brazil. She previously took the stage at the Brazilian festival in 2018, but as part of the group Mamamoo. This time, the 31-year-old artist will take the Mundo Stage at Cidade do Rock starting at 7 PM.
In Brazil, Hwasa will present her debut single "TWIT", along with later releases such as "Maria" and "I'm a B". She arrives at the festival following successful international collaborations, including "Physical" with Dua Lipa and "Somebody!" with Loco.
Hwasa is the stage name of Ahn Hye-jin, who has been dedicated to her music career since the age of 19. In a 2019 interview for Korean TV, the singer revealed the origin of her stage name, inspired by the adjective "hwasahada", which means something like brilliant or radiant.
