The police detected up to 120 speeding violations in just 40 minutes during a checkpoint on Río Turia street in San Vicente del Raspeig. The high number of violations was recorded in a short period of time, revealing a serious situation of non-compliance with speed limits on the road.
The checkpoint is part of a special surveillance campaign promoted by the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) of Spain. This campaign aims precisely to intensify the enforcement of traffic rules on the country's roads and urban streets.
The location chosen for the operation was Río Turia street in San Vicente del Raspeig, a town where authorities considered it necessary to increase surveillance due to the high number of violations recorded on that road.
