Minister André Mendonça determined the lifting of the secrecy from the main investigations related to Banco Master that are pending at the Supreme Federal Court (STF). The decision was made on Thursday night (10) and follows a request made by the president of the Court, Edson Fachin.
With the decision, access is now available to a set of inquiries, complaints, and petitions linked to the so-called "Master case." In a dispatch signed on Thursday night, Mendonça stated that he is lifting the secrecy of Petition 15,556, considered the main investigation of the case, in addition to the procedures related to it.
The minister also stated that administrative measures are being taken to send complete copies of the case files to the STF Presidency and to the other chambers of the Court. In the decision, Mendonça wrote: "In harmony with the request made by the eminent President, Minister Edson Fachin, I hereby lift the secrecy of the records of PET No. 15,556 and of the procedures contained in or related to it."
