Brazil's Federal Police launched an operation to investigate an alleged financing scheme with public funds for the film "Dark Horse," a biopic of former President Jair Bolsonaro. The operation was authorized by Judge Flávio Dino, of the Supreme Federal Court, who issued a 150-page ruling consulted by the news agency.

Among the targets of the operation is former TV Globo actor and current Bolsonaro-aligned federal deputy Mário Frias. Altogether, agents are carrying out 49 search and seizure warrants, carried out in Rio de Janeiro. The investigation is examining whether public money was diverted for the film production that tells the life story of Jair Bolsonaro.
