Last Saturday, Ivete Sangalo performed a memorable concert of about four hours in the gardens of Casino Estoril, in Portugal. The Bahian singer went up on a 360-degree stage to star in the international debut of the "Clareou" project, transforming the space into a great samba circle that won over the Portuguese audience.
Ivete Sangalo explained that Portugal is a country that has shared victories with her since always and that the "Clareou" project has become the apple of her eye. The artist also revealed that she had already visited Cascais as a tourist and expressed her wish that Portugal would experience that dream with her.
The 360-degree format of the stage was designed to break the distance between the artist and the audience. Ivete moved around the stage, got close to the public and made the spectators an essential part of the performance, creating a dynamic of closeness with her Bahian memories mixed with the Portuguese scenery by the sea.
The concert marked the international expansion of a project that, according to Ivete herself, was born from something hard to explain. For a few hours, the gardens of Casino Estoril, from Casino Estoril to Tamariz, stopped being just a setting and transformed into a great samba circle, with thousands of people singing, dancing and celebrating together.
