AgdA launches 155 thousand euro tender for inspection of the new Santiago do Escoural wastewater treatment plant

The Águas Públicas do Alentejo (AgdA) has launched a public tender to contract inspection services, safety coordination, environmental management and archaeological monitoring of the design-construction works for the new Santiago do Escoural Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The procedure has a base price of 155,400 euros, plus VAT, and an execution period of 800 days. Interested companies may submit proposals until 6:00 PM on September 23, 2026, through the ACIN/AcinGov electronic platform.

The contract aims to ensure the monitoring and verification of compliance with the future WWTP works, covering various technical areas. Among the responsibilities foreseen are the inspection of works, coordination of health and safety on site, management of the Health and Safety Plan, quality management, and coordination of environmental management and the respective Environmental Management Plan.

Archaeological monitoring of the works is also foreseen, taking into account the nature and location of the intervention. The works will be monitored on the site of the future Santiago do Escoural WWTP, in the municipality of Montemor-o-Novo, district of Évora. The contracted entity will be responsible for technically monitoring the execution of the work and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, environmental and archaeological preservation requirements throughout the works.
