Three people were detained by the Judicial Police after a theft at a residence in Lagos. The police operation resulted in the capture of the suspects, who allegedly broke into the property to commit the crime.
Two of the detainees were intercepted by the owner of the residence, who surprised the suspects during or after the incident. The intervention of the property owner was decisive in the detention of these two individuals.
The three detained suspects are being presented this Thursday in court. The presentation is for the possible application of coercive measures, a decision that will be evaluated by the competent judicial authority.
The case is being handled by the Judicial Police, which carried out the investigation procedures that led to the identification and capture of the suspects. The authorities have not disclosed further details about the stolen goods or the value of the theft.
