This contest is promoted by the River Beaches Guide, which recognizes swimming and leisure areas throughout the country. The distinction places the river beach of Arcos among the ten best in the national ranking.
The Municipal Chamber of Arcos de Valdevez highlighted that this position in the TOP 10 reinforces the quality of the space, the freshness of the Vez river, and the excellent setting in the natural landscape. The municipality considered that the distinction demonstrates that Arcos de Valdevez continues to be a nationally recognized center of excellence.
