The Confraria da Chanfana celebrated its 25th anniversary with an event that served as a launch for a special initiative. The confraternity plans to offer tons of this traditional delicacy on October 4th. Chanfana is a traditional Portuguese dish, typically prepared with kid or lamb cooked in wine and spices, being a specialty of the Lafões region. The anniversary celebration marks a quarter of a century since the founding of this institution dedicated to the preservation and promotion of this traditional recipe.
