President of CCDR-Norte is guest of honor of the New Fairs parade

The president of the Regional Coordination and Development Commission of the North (CCDR-Norte), Álvaro Santos, is the guest of honor of the ethnographic parade of the New Fairs of Ponte de Lima. The choice of the person in charge of CCDR-Norte occurs in the year when the New Fairs celebrate 200 years of existence.

The parade will represent through the streets of the town practices, knowledge and customs associated with the rural world of the municipality, with the expected participation of 28 parishes.

The ethnographic parade takes place on Saturday afternoon at 3 pm and constitutes one of the main moments of the New Fairs, which run until Monday.
