Ricardo Pinheiro, President of the Commission for the Coordination and Regional Development of Alentejo, I.P., participated on September 9 in the inauguration ceremony of the new Arregota Substation, located in Grândola. The event was attended by various entities involved in the region's energy sector.

The new Arregota Substation represents an investment of 4 million euros, an amount destined for the modernization and expansion of the electrical infrastructure in the Alentejo coast area. This infrastructure aims to strengthen the existing electrical grid and guarantee greater reliability in energy supply.

With this investment, the aim is to strengthen the capacity to respond to the future energy needs of the Alentejo coast, a region that has registered significant growth in energy demand. The substation emerges as a strategic response to support the development of the region in the coming years.
