CBF announced a record increase in the negotiation of Copa do Brasil broadcasting rights for the 2027 to 2030 cycle, totaling over R$ 4 billion. The amount also includes the broadcast of Supercopa from 2028 to 2031 and represents an 80% increase compared to the current cycle. The entity did not disclose in advance the prize amounts that will be paid to participating clubs, stating that the figures will be announced at the next club league meeting on the 21st.
The 157 matches of the competition will be broadcast on six different outlets. On open TV, matches will be shown by Globo. On cable TV, by Sportv and Premiere. On streaming, by Amazon Prime Video. And on YouTube, by GETV. CBF reported that another package is under negotiation but could not announce the winner because the process has not yet been finalized.
According to the reporting team's investigation, the additional package under negotiation is with ESPN. The Brazilian soccer governing body has not yet officially confirmed this information. The changes are part of a series of adjustments implemented by CBF in Copa do Brasil, which will take effect starting in 2027.
