A young woman appeared before the Provincial Court of Castellón to testify as the victim of an alleged case of sexual assault by her partner, in addition to six other alleged crimes. The young woman said that at the beginning the relationship was positive, but that later they went through cycles of separation and reconciliation.
The victim described that the companion was jealous, possessive and that they constantly argued. She reported that he always arrived drunk and aggressive, insulting her with offensive words like "bitch," "cunt" and "daughter of a bitch." The young woman also declared that at one point he said: "I have the urge to kill you."
The victim's mother-in-law reportedly warned the young woman to leave the house, arguing that the son would end up in prison and that she could die. The alleged abuse occurred in a municipality in the province of Castellón whose name is omitted by the newspaper Mediterráneo to protect the woman's identity. The trial continues before the court.
