The Regulatory Entity for Social Communication (ERC) concluded that TVI did not observe "antenna ethics" in Cristina Ferreira's interview about the rape case involving four digital influencers. The ERC's intervention follows a complaint filed by the Public Prosecutor's Office.
The interview in question was broadcast on the "Two at 10" program, on TVI, in April. Cristina Ferreira spoke publicly about the case of the four 'influencers' who were accused of raping a 16-year-old teenager and filming the sexual acts, in Loures.
The four digital influencers were accused of having engaged in sexual acts with the 16-year-old girl and of having filmed the sexual assault in early 2025. The Public Prosecutor's Office filed a complaint against the broadcast, leading the ERC to analyze whether the television station complied with the rules of journalistic and ethical conduct in social communication.
