The president of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), Edson Fachin, cancelled for the second consecutive day the session of the Court's plenary. Wednesday's session had already been cancelled by the minister, and now Thursday's session has also been cancelled.
The cancellation occurs amid an unprecedented crisis at the court. Fachin adopted a series of measures to try to address the situation, but regular plenary sessions remain suspended.
The STF informed, however, that the extraordinary session already called for next Tuesday is maintained. On that occasion, the Federal Police report with messages exchanged between Daniel Vorcaro and Minister Alexandre de Moraes will be analyzed.
The Presidency of the STF communicated that the cancellation took into consideration the extraordinary nature of the two sessions, both this Thursday's and next Tuesday's.
