The Portuguese Government and social partners will meet to discuss the State Budget proposal. The meeting will have the update of the national minimum wage as one of the main topics.
The context for this discussion is based on a tripartite agreement established for the period between 2025 and 2028. This agreement provides for gradual increases of the minimum wage.
According to what is planned in this tripartite agreement, the increases will be 50 euros per year. The goal is to reach a minimum wage of 1,020 euros by the end of the period covered by the agreement.
