Marco Meneses, from Castro Daire, won the silver medal in the 400 meters freestyle event in the S11 class, during the European Paralympic Swimming Championships that took place in Turkiye.
The Portuguese swimmer achieved the title of European vice-champion in this adapted swimming competition, once again demonstrating his sporting quality at the highest European level.
Marco Meneses' performance joins the positive results of the Portuguese delegation at these European Paralympic swimming championships held in Turkiye.
