Mortgage payments are set to rise again in October, affecting thousands of property owners in Portugal who have housing credit contracts with periodic interest rate reviews.
The new interest rates applied in contract reviews may bring additional increases to monthly payments, representing a new financial burden for families.

This situation arises in a context of continued interest rate increases, which has directly impacted the cost of home ownership loans.
