Government and social partners meet on Wednesday with State Budget 2027 on the agenda

The Portuguese Government and social partners meet next Wednesday in Social Concertation to discuss the State Budget for 2027 and the transposition of the Pay Transparency Directive, at a meeting that will be attended by the Finance Minister, Joaquim Miranda Sarmento. The update of the minimum wage, currently at 920 euros, should be one of the central themes, with the 2024 tripartite agreement providing for 970 euros in 2027, although the new Government program points to a target of 1,100 euros by 2029.
