Brazil's Tourism Minister highlighted the tourism potential of the state of Piauí during a public statement. According to him, the state has significant attractions that can boost tourism activity in the region.

Among the main points cited by the minister are Serra da Capivara, a recognized cultural and archaeological heritage site, the Piauí coastline with its beaches and natural beauty, and Rota das Emoções, a tourist circuit connecting destinations in northeastern Brazil.

The minister bets on small businesses as a strategy to expand and strengthen the tourism sector in Piauí. This approach suggests a focus on local investments and strengthening the regional economy through tourism.

The statement reinforces the importance of diversifying the tourism offering in the state, leveraging both cultural heritage and natural beauty to attract visitors and generate economic development for the region.
