The TRiP festival takes place this Saturday at the Linear Park of Rio Pavia, in Viseu, proposing a day of free multidisciplinary cultural programming that includes puppet theatre, music, dance, contemporary circus, cinema for children and author song. The organization states that the event aims to promote intergenerational gathering, cultural diversity and bringing community, territory and culture closer together.

Among the musical proposals, the projects Laurindinhas Libertam a Sua Voz, BLS City and Gira Sol Azul stand out, developed through participatory methodologies and co-creation with local communities. The WeTumTum collective presents "Musko", an itinerant musical show inspired by the forest, while Trupe Fandanga takes the stage with the puppet show "Ai de Mim, Ai do Eu", centered on the transformation of a character built in clay. For the young audience, there's Inflatable Cinema, an itinerant screening room for children aged three to 12 with award-winning short films.

The closing of the festival is in the hands of Sérgio Godinho, accompanied by pianist Filipe Raposo, in an intimate concert that revisits some of the most emblematic songs from the Portuguese musician's career. The festival, which has been held since 2022, aims to transform the Linear Park of Rio Pavia into a space for community gathering.
