An elderly person was seriously injured after the motorcycle he was driving crashed on the EN122, in Castro Marim. The accident occurred on a national road and resulted in serious injuries to the driver.
At the scene of the accident there are elements from the Firefighters, who ensure the rescue and first aid to the victim. INEM is also present to provide emergency medical assistance.
The authorities also have GNR elements at the scene, who are responsible for managing traffic and investigating the circumstances of the crash. A helicopter was also mobilized to the scene.
