Sporting returns to training after Champions hangover with two absences

Record10 September 2026 at 15:15

Sporting returned to training following their Champions League elimination, in a moment of preparation for the next competitive commitment. The lions are already preparing for the game with Famalicão, scheduled for Sunday.

During the training session upon their return to activity, there were two absences from the available squad of players. The players in question did not join the training session, thus being left out of the options for the match against the Famalicão team.

This is the first training session after the lions' participation in the European competition, which left the team with little recovery time before the next national championship game. The squad is now working to arrive in the best possible condition for the clash against Famalicão.
